アデレード大学で日本語を勉強し、もっと日本を旅行して日本の文化を勉強したくなり、卒業後に来日しました。群馬県でALT講師として1年英語を教え、その後千葉の一宮に引越してきました。現在は日本人のフォトグラファーと結婚し、2人で日本とオーストラリアを旅行する傍ら、サーフィンやアウトドア、トラベル雑誌のライター、翻訳家として活躍しています。 Because everyone is different!"Cheers!"
About Us Party People Japan is a unique Australian Travel Information Website for Japanese travellers with a desire to experience the REAL Australia. Angie Takanami, born and bred in Adelaide, South Australia, is a writer, traveller, model and soul surfer, and together with her husband, professional surfing and fashion photographer Kuni Takanami, they travel back and forth between Australia and Japan each year. Angie's credentials include a bachelor of arts at Adelaide University, majoring in Japanese, Asian Studies and International Studies, has lived in Japan for 3 years and is now based in the surf village Ichinomiya (Chiba) and Tokyo, where she is the assistant editor of Outdoor JapanOutdoor Japan magazine, and freelances for Japanese magazineSurf 1st. Tomoko Katou is a fluently English speaking Japanese surfer girl, born up in Northern Japan, in one of the country's finest environments in Hokkaido. Studying English at university in Tokyo, Tomo then moved to Australia on a year's working holiday, where she fell in love with surfing and Aussie culture. Married with a water loving baby girl, Tomo also enjoys the 'slow-life' of living in Ichinomiya, and surfs whenever her hubby watches the baby! Tomo is a professional English-Japanese translator and co-owner of Party People Japan.
